This Privacy Policy explains how HunterHum handles information when you use its public website and MCP tools for discovering and comparing technology products.
HunterHum does not require an account. The service may process information needed to answer a request, such as a product search query, product ID, selected category, or maximum budget. Please do not submit payment card information, protected health information, government identifiers, passwords, API keys, authentication codes, or other sensitive credentials.
We use request data to return relevant catalog search, product-detail, and comparison results, and to maintain and improve the security, reliability, and usefulness of the service. HunterHum does not use request data for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale of personal information.
HunterHum uses PostHog for limited product analytics. For MCP tool calls, HunterHum may record the tool used, whether the call succeeded, catalog category and structured filters, result count, and product IDs used for product-detail or comparison requests. HunterHum does not send the raw free-text search query to PostHog. The PostHog project is configured to anonymize IP addresses and not create person profiles from these MCP analytics events.
HunterHum is hosted on Railway, which processes infrastructure and network data needed to deliver the service. HunterHum uses PostHog to process the limited usage analytics described above. HunterHum may return links to manufacturer websites as product sources, but HunterHum does not send your search query or other request content to those manufacturers on your behalf.
HunterHum does not maintain a user-account database and does not intentionally store raw MCP query contents after the request is answered. Limited analytics events may be retained in PostHog according to HunterHum's configured analytics retention settings. Railway may retain infrastructure logs according to the hosting plan in use. HunterHum does not use analytics or infrastructure logs for advertising or profiling.
You may choose not to provide personal information in your requests, stop using or remove the plugin at any time, and contact HunterHum to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information under HunterHum's control. Because HunterHum does not maintain user accounts or an application database of query history, there may be no stored query content for HunterHum to delete.
HunterHum is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
HunterHum uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited data it processes. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
